IMPORTANT NEWS FROM IFC ABOUT THE STEWARDS FUND CHALLENGE

The Inter-Faith Council for Social Service (IFC) is in the running for a challenge grant from The Stewards Fund. The challenge grant is an all-or-nothing challenge that requires that the IFC raise money in the form of new and increased gifts. You can help out by:
1) Becoming a first-time donor to IFC.
or
2) Giving a gift if you are a lapsed donor (lapsed donors are those who have not given in the last fiscal year)
or
3) Increasing the amount of your gift to IFC if you are a regular donor (only the incremental portion of the increased gifts from existing donors will count toward the challenge amount).

In order to receive a matching funds grant from The Stewards Fund, IFC must come up with at least $50,000 in supporting funds by December 31, 2010. So, IFC needs you to donate NOW in order to raise the funds necessary to receive the grant!

To donate, please send a check to:
John Dorward
Inter-Faith Council for Social Service
110 W. Main St.
Carrboro, NC 27510
We'll also be glad to help you pay by credit card! Call (919) 929-6380, ext. 14 for John or ext. 12 for Frances.

Thank you to The Stewards Fund and to IFC supporters for making this opportunity possible!
