This past Monday, The Interfaith Council for Social Service (IFC) kicked of its RSVVP (Restaurants Sharing Ten Percent) campaign by honoring restaurants with 10, 15, and 20 years of service to the program at IFC's Community House shelter. 2010 marks the 22nd year of the RSVVP campaign. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a great dinner out and support IFC plus it's easy! Just mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 9th and plan to eat out at one of the many area restaurants listed on IFC's website as participating in the event. Participating restaurants will donated 10% of their sales that night to IFC which enables IFC to purchase food when food pantry and soup kitchen supplies run low.
For more information about IFC's RSVVP kick off, check out the article in the Daily Tarheel.
You can find a list of participating restaurants and more information about IFC's RSVVP event at IFC's website.
